Out here on these 21 wild acres, we aren't just selling berries. We're building something meant to grow with the land and the community around it.
Phase one starts now with our roadside farm stand and first public U-pick wild blueberry season. But that's only the beginning. The larger vision includes a working farm stand, a curated retail and event space, and eventually, a micro-resort where people can stay and experience the barrens and local ecosystem for themselves.
Every part of that vision is connected to The Barrens Foundation. We set aside 1 percent of all property revenue for the Foundation, with the long-term goal of funding small grants for Mainers working in music and art, conservation, trail management, and other efforts that keep Maine wild and its outdoor culture thriving.
For now, we're starting with something real: using those funds to help local kids get their first skateboard or bike. As the farm grows into the larger vision, the Foundation will grow with it, helping us support more people, take on more meaningful projects, and invest more deeply in Maine's future.
When you pull off the road for a pint of berries, grab a shirt from the shop, or eventually book a stay, you aren't just a customer. You're a backer. Every purchase helps shape what comes next on this land and invests directly in the community we call home.
