THE BARRENS / THE VISION
Our vision is a work in progress — the images throughout this page are AI-generated mockups of the resort, and we're actively working on getting architectural renderings made.
01 / ARRIVAL
Hospitality, rooted in place.
Future cabins will sit quietly at the edge of the lowbush blueberry barrens, tucked into the treeline and shaped around expansive views. Here, the land comes first: a slower morning, a longer look across the fields, and a stay that feels inseparable from its setting.
02 / DAYS OUTSIDE
Room to move, space to gather.
Days at The Barrens will invite guests outdoors, with a private trail network, mountain bike park, and flow skatepark planned for the property. Once a month, The Blueberry Jam will open the grounds to the wider community for live music, local art, and an easygoing weekend in the barrens.
03 / THE STAY
Space to unwind, naturally.
Wake to sunrise over the barrens, with wild blueberries growing just beyond the door. Settle in with coffee, follow the day wherever it leads, then return to the warmth of your cabin as evening settles over the pines. The future resort will be designed to honor the darkness and stillness of the Maine night sky.
